Azco Fluorescent Detection Reagents
For many biological applications today there is a need for the ability to detect a molecule, either a protein, nucleic acid or small molecule for both in-vivo and ex-vivo applications. For this reason Azco offers a complete line of fluorescent dyes for your use in the detection of nucleic acids, proteins and other molecules of interest for a variety of biological applications.
Many biological applications today employ FRET (fluorescence resonance energy transfer) where a dye is used in conjunction with a quencher in a close proximity to one another. When the two molecules are together, fluorescence is quenched. But, when either the quencher or dye is released fluorescence is detected. This process is commonly used in many diagnostics. Azco offers a quenchers that are wavelength matched to common fluorophors to simplify FRET probe design and optimization.
Finally, Azco offers many of the dyes and quenchers we offers as phosphoramidites and CPG so that it is easy synthesize oligos that incorporate these dyes into your nucleic acid probe design.
Remember, all Azco dyes are offered for royalty free and license free use.
TF Dyes
Azco offers a series of dyes that have improved optical and chemical characteristics over many of the commonly used dyes. The name given to this family of dyes is called the TF (TideFluor) dyes. The TF family of dyes include:

TQ Quenchers
Since the TF dyes are developed for FRET applications, we offer a series of wavelength matched quenchers called the TQ Quenchers that quench the emission wavelengths of the complimentary dye. The dye-quencher pairs available are:
